Sadly, I won't be piloting a Raptor but I'll be heading up to balmy Quebec City to take the new F-150 through its paces off road and there will also be some trailer towing action. What do you guys want to know about the new F-150?
I know it isn't that new but I'll be up close with thing for a few days and I'll have Ford engineers designers on hand for technical questions. Are you curious about real world fuel economy? Trailering ability? What do you want me to find out about the new Ferd?

This is the consumer advice I hope to provide. Jumps will be performed and sweetness will be measured empirically. I will report back on this.

What's the setup of the 4wd system? I'd assume it has 2H / 4H / 4L, but does it also have an "auto" or "on-demand" mode? If so, how does that work?
What about the rear axle? Locking, open, or limited slip?
How well does the traction control system work?

I'll check that out. Good question. I know the 2013 had a 2HI/4HI/4LO switch with no automatic mode and no locking differentials as far as I know.

That's what we're going to do. And yes, I assume it'll be that engine though I don't know yet.

We are in the same wave, so I expect to see you during the event!
Me and a guy from the Huff are driving there from Montreal, we arrive in the afternoon to check out Quebec before heading to the hotel.

Last gen had an available locking rear diff. Ours does and I think most full size trucks have it as an option.

Do you have much seat time in the last gen truck? If so, does the new one feel noticably lighter? Our 2014, and the 2010 before that, lumbers around and wobbles in turns; it feels very heavy (because it is).

My dad actually owns a 2013 model so I've had a lot of seat time in that. I'm also to see how it feels in comparison.
